Rosas De Viacha Group's story

Victoria T. is 35 years old. She sells potatoes and chuño (dehydrated potatoes), a business that she learned form her mother and that has helped her bring in income to sustain her family. Victoria buys her merchandise from different towns in the Altiplano and she sells them in the 16 de July market on Thursdays and Sundays. She also sells in the Rio Seco market on Fridays and Tuesdays. Victoria's fellow lending group members have their own economic activities, such as selling backpacks, clothes, tailoring and tending to their own neighborhood stores.

They all need the loan to acquire merchandise, primary materials and fixed assets.
