Carmen Rosa L. heads up the “Las Emprendedoras” [Enterprising Women] group of the Alto Lima branch of ProMujer. She sells casual shoes. With time, she has managed to open her own business and at the end of this year she estimates that business will increase so that she will need a loan to purchase more merchandise. She buys her products in La Paz and sells them on foot at the “16th of July” market.
