Pauline Mankaa's story

Born in 1949, Pauline Mankaa S. is married and is mother of three living children. Her husband is unemployed so he finds it difficult to provide education and food for his family. In order to assist her husband, she decided to start a business and sought a loan from GHAPE for start-up capital.

After successfully repaying the loan, she now requests another loan of $400 with which she plans to increase her business of cultivation and selling of crops and off-license (liquor store) so she can earn money to buy food for the family and pay apprentice fees for her children.

She plans to pay the loan in 18 months, and the first installment of repayment shall be made on the fourth month from the date of disbursement.
