Juan Bautista Group's story

One of the characteristics of the communal bank “Juan Bautista” that is represented by Señora Carmen and is formed by 13 members is that are going into their second loan cycle, demonstrating their capacity for managing their funds, their unity, and their responsibility in their payments. The different activities between the clients of the group is the sale of bread, crackers, sweets, sandals, neighborhood grocery stores, sodas, shoes and motor-taxi service for pickup and delivery. Everyday the competition with respect to their businesses is difficult so they have to work very hard so they can move forward with their businesses.

The credit will be used in the purchase of Christmas merchandise because in this season demand is high and they need to change areas in order to have higher income. In this group there are only 3 people that have participated in similar groups and for the majority, this is the first time that they have participated in solidarity groups. But already they are enrolling in their second cycle without much difficulty to take their whole family forward.

In this group: Carmen, Maricela, Maria Yamely, Daniel Angel, Carmen Julia, Jose, Aracely, Petrona, Maria Dolly, Leonilda, Reinelda, Arnaldo, Rosita
