A loan helped a member to buy 2 bundles of second-hand clothes to increase her business.

El-Shadai Group's story

Nabintu is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima. She is 45 years old, married, and the mother of 5 children who all go to school. She is a businesswoman who helps her husband, the president of the community bank “El Shadai.” She’s been selling charcoal from her home on a busy street for 10 years now.

She is going to stock up on 2 bundles of second-hand clothes to increase her business. She first financed her business through her salary from when she worked in a local hospital.

She wishes to build a house and to educate and feed her children. Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for the support they offer unbanked entrepreneurs. It should also be noted that several members in the photo are carrying their babies.

In this group: Nabintu, Methode, Micheline, Henri, Beatrice, Faida, Baraka, Christine, Raifa, Rosette, Annie, Gilbert, Jeanine, Rogatien, Bernadette, Wislas, John, Samson, Judith, Eliode
