A loan of $4,400 helped a member operating capital.

16 De Mayo Group's story

The members of the 16 de Mayo group are characterized as being people who look to progress in spite of adversities. Together with their representative, Isabel, the 17 members are in their second cycle. They demonstrate enthusiasm and responsibility with their payments.

Their activities are selling sweets, food, and cosmetics. Some work as bricklayers, teachers, domestic employees, or employees of private companies. The competition in their businesses is difficult. They all have to work hard to cover their payments and have enough income to support their families.

The loan is to get raw material, merchandise, and work tools to do the best work faster and with a better finish.

Some of the members were not in the group’s first cycle, but they have experience thanks to loans from institutions similar to the Agrocapital Foundation. They are thankful to the Agrocapital Foundation for the economic support and the confidence placed in each one of the members.

In this group: Isabel, Gabriel Angel, Elena, Mariceli, Maria Lidia, Pedro, Angelica, Josefa, Francisca, Maria Dalcy, Elena, Ignacio, Rosalia, Alisandy, Bertha, Faustino, Jose Celso
