A loan helped to buy hair oil, all types of human hair extensions, a hairdryer, chairs, and lotions for hair styling.

Salamatu's story

Salamatu is married and blessed with five children. They all live in a three-bedroom house in Ndop, North West Region of Cameroon. She has faced so many difficulties in life, some of which are sickness and death of loved ones, fire accident, and inadequate financing to start up a business of her own to support her family's needs.

With this new loan requested, she will improve her salon business by buying in bulk hair oil, various types of human hair extensions, a hairdryer, chairs, lotions for hair styling, and also to purchase jewelry.

She holds a positive view of this business because she has been involved in the hairdressing business for more than five years and has trained young girls who are great help to the community.

With the profit from this loan, she will expand her business, pay her children's school fees, save some in order to undertake a bigger investment in the future, and provide good medication for her family.

She prefers a GHAPE loan because of the low interest rates, convenient repayment intervals, and also the training in marketing and management skills the members receive before the loans are disbursed, coupled with the social network.

This loan is special because:

It is coupled with multi-faceted trainings to support the poorest in Cameroon.
