A loan helped to add stock to his shop.

Eliot's story

Eliot is married with one child; they live in the Ntungamo outskirts.

He operates a retail shop as his source of income. He started this business with the savings that he accumulated from the different casual jobs that he did.

Eliot has been using his own capital to run the business; however, his working capital alone cannot enable him to expand his business. He decided to join UGAFODE for financial support and has applied for his first loan of 3,500,000 UGX to buy more stock, including soap, sugar, rice, posho, beverages, and other items.

Eliot hopes that with increased stock he will be able to meet all his customers' needs, which will increase his sales as well as his income. He sends his gratitude to the funders for the financial support that will boost his business. His dream is to transform his shop into a wholesale outlet, and he is working hard to make it a reality.
