Phin S., 44, is married and lives with her son in Takeo province. To earn a living, she has been making and selling handicraft products at the local market. She earns approximately US $2 of profit every day. Her husband is a farm worker and makes less than US $1 per day. Phin S.’s son is a taxi driver who is able to make about US $5 of profit a day.
Phin S. would like to take out a loan of US $1000 to purchase a motorbike to transport her craft products to the market.
