Mariela Esperanza is a dynamic and collaborative member who lives in the city of Pucallpa in the Ucayali region. She is a 38-year-old mother of 4 children, one of whom is an adult. She relies on the support of her husband, who is a welder, and she works in the business of selling regional foods. Her business is located in her home and she works together with her children. Mariela has been a part of the "Las Divinas" Communal Bank for a year; she invested her first loan of 300.00 nuevos soles in chickens in order to later sell them at the Bellavista market in Pucallpa. Now she needs a loan of 800.00 nuevos soles, which she will use to buy chickens for sale. Mariela's goal is to have a site specifically for her own restaurant.
