Liliana's story

Liliana A. is a persevering and hardworking woman who lives in the city of Pucallpa, region of Ucayali. She is 42 years old and the mother of three children, two of whom are adults. Liliana has the support of her husband who is self-employed.


She sells secondhand clothing. Liliana joined the Communal Bank “Fray Martín de Porres” one year ago. The first loan she received was in the amount of 300 soles and was used to buy sodas. She now needs a loan of 1000 soles to buy secondhand clothing to sell later to her customers.


Liliana's goal is to open a soda fountain where she can offer a wide variety of desserts and soft drinks.
