Aurora's story

Aurora V. C. is 34. She lives in the Moche district, Trujillo province, La Libertad department, Perú. She is a member of the Siempre Adelante II Communal Bank. She went to school until the fifth year of high school. She has three children who are economically dependent upon her. She sells clothes for women, men, and children. With her first loan for 300 PEN she bought women’s clothes like jeans, polo shirts, blouses, pants, sheets, and quilts, etc. With her next loan for 1,100 PEN she will travel to the city of Lima to buy clothes like dresses, polo shirts, skirts, jeans, blouses, and pajamas, etc. She dreams of adapting a space in her home where she could display the clothes that she will sell.
