Nueva Alternatva Group's story

Maria is a member of the "Nueva Alternativa" communal bank. She has been working with EDAPROSPO-PROSPERIDAD for three years, where she participates in training for the food industry. Thanks to that she has improved her quality of life in both material and work-related ways. She is a single 50 year old woman, working since she finished school in the sale of candy. She saved money with the work she did as an assistant in initial education which she studied for. She then started selling food to improve her quality of life. This is why she became a member of EDAPROSPO-PROSPERIDAD, where she started to assist in training for the food industry. This is how she improved the quality of her products, and her sales. Afterward she opened a phone booth in her home where people can make local and long distance calls. Thanks to some of her friends, she also got some small go-carts for children which she rents on the weekends. Maria has maD. future plans like traveling to Ayacucho to devote herself to the raising of Alpaca to sell their wool, and with the profit she is expecting she will buy one or two stands in a mall to open a soda fountain. Maria's greatest wish is to fulfill these plans, and thanks to her enthusiasm she will achieve them.
