Maria Del Carmen's story

Maria is 48 years old. She is a single mother with three children, and she lives with them in the municipality of Yoro, Yoro. Previously she worked farming corn and beans. Nine years ago she started selling groceries in a small shop in her own home. She offers vegetables, fruits, eggs, dairy products, wheat flour, pork rinds, pastas and other items.
