A loan helped a member to buy sheep to sell and to earn a profit for the family.

Sabugnuman Group's story

Routh is 36 years old and Malian. She is married and the mother of 6 children, 4 of whom are in school. Her children are 2 to 17 years old. Routh never went to school, she has been raising animals for 10 years.

Today she wants to develop and expand this business to turn it into her main source of income. On the photo, she is the woman with her hand on the sheep.
She is getting the loan from RMCR to buy sheep and rams. She gets her stock from neighboring villages and makes her sales at the local market.

After the sale she can have 27,500CFA in profits for each cycle. The profits from the sales of sheep and rams allow her to cover costs for healthcare, education, and feeding her children. She has had no problems with the RMCR loan.

In the future, Ruth hopes for an important loan to expand her animal husbandry in order to meet more of her customers' and family's needs.
