A loan helped to pay for a piglet, fodder, and rice bran for it.

Tahirintsoa's story

Tahirintsoa is 24 years old and married, and she has one child. She is from a family of peasant farmers and makes a living in agriculture. Currently, she wants to start investing in the raising of pigs, which is fairly advantageous in her opinion.

She is a good partner of VAHATRA and takes out loans to boost her capital. She sees a profit, which she uses to purchase things for her home. She has also been able to build up a bit of savings .

Tahirintsoa is asking for the help of lender to pay for a piglet, 200 kg of fodder, and 400 kg of rice bran in order to guarantee its nutrition. She plans to sell the livestock to the village butcher. Her plans include building a house of their own, and she strives to save money to achieve that.
