Manh's story

Manh is from Quang Binh, a province in the middle coast of Vietnam. She is 35 years old and is married with 3 children. Because of the lack of a latrine, she and her children are facing many difficulties relating to diseases and sanitation.

She earns a living by fishing and fish processing. However, the income from these businesses is not enough to buy things such as nails, PVC elbows and tees, gravel, sand, cement, hollow blocks, a floor drain, a toilet bowl, and plywood. She is asking for a loan to buy materials to construct of the latrine. With the monthly income from fishing and fish processing and the help of her husband, she is confident that she can repay the loan.
