A loan helped to build a bathroom for better sanitation for her family.

Jasih's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KSPPS BMI’s clients, Jasih. She is 53 years old and widowed. She has one daughter and two sons. She works very hard selling cooking ingredients such as tomatoes, chilies, onions, etc in the Serang district for two years. Her income is barely enough for her basic needs. She would like to improve her living conditions and create a happy and healthy life for her family.

Jasih has asked for a loan of 6,300,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI. This loan will be used to build a bathroom for better sanitation for the family. Today, her family has no bathroom in their home and must rely on the river for bathing. Her family income is insufficient to build a sanitation bathroom but Jasih will be able to repay the loan received.

She and her family want to live a healthy life with clean sanitation. Jasih is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

This loan is special because:

It helps prevent the spread of disease by providing access to clean drinking water and sanitation.
