Antonio's story

Antonio B. is from the city of Linao Norte Tuguegarao. He is 47 years old. Antonio is married and has 9 school-aged children. To make a living, Antonio works in a family member's business venture in the services sector, providing recycling services. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from hauling plastics and other recyclables for local businesses and community members. Antonio has been engaged in his business for over 20 years and earns approximately 5,000 PHP a month for these activities.

Antonio joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Antonio is requesting a new loan of 15,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional plastics and other recyclables to sell. This loan will be the fifth loan taken out by Antonio from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement his family's income.
