A loan of $1,000 helped to buy food such as rice, sugar, noodles and vegetables for her store.

Jeanny Marivil's story

Jeanny Marivil is a member of the communal bank "Prosperidad." She is a young mother who is 28 years old and married. She has 2 children and is expecting a third; they live in the city of Cusco.

Jeanny alternates her activities in the home with a small business selling foodstuffs. She has a store in her house where she offers products to her neighbors. She has already worked in this business for a number of years and it has gone very well thanks to all of the effort she has put into the work. She is an enterprising mother who works hard to advance her family. She needs a loan to increase her business capital so that she can buy more foodstuffs such as rice, sugar, noodles and vegetables.

She is grateful for the opportunity provided through these means, and she pledges to make her payments according to the established schedule.
