A loan helped a member to buy cattle wholesale.

Central Catavi Group's story

The “Central Catavi” communal bank is part of the Copacabana Agency., It is made up of eight members who are friends and neighbors in their community. It is led by a board of directors with Pascuala as President.

The loan they are taking out will benefit these micro-entrepreneurs, Pascuala being one of them. She currently has a business selling cheese in her community which she started little by little three years ago.

The loan she is now taking out will be used to increase her capital buying cattle wholesale which she will acquire from the wholesalers of the city of El Alto. They will then be used as a medium for production.

This manner of working allows her to generate resources to support her family as she is single. Her dream is to increase her merchandise.

Note: Francisca is not in the photo as after the money was distributed she had to quickly return to her sales space.

In this group: Pascuala, Remedios, Martin Gregorio, Martha, Sonia, Jovita, Rosse Mary, Francisca
