A loan of $525 helped buy supplies to prepare her meals.

Lourdes Judith's story

Lourdes Judith belongs to the La Amistad del Dorado Communal Bank in the Moyabamba district, Moyabamba province, San Martín department. She is 59, married, and has six independent children.

Lourdes Judith decided to sell prepared meals 35 years ago. Her business is located at the market in her district. She has been in this business for 14 years. Her place is well equipped to wait on customers. She has lots of customers everyday due to her delicious seasoning. Her main customers are inhabitants of the city, people passing by, and regular customers. Her place is very popular.

She currently continues with the same business. She is very happy with the work she does day to day. She sells in the mornings from 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. She personally waits on her customers with the characteristic charisma.

She will use this loan for 1,500 PEN to buy supplies for the daily preparation of her food. She will buy things like kilos of rice and sugar, gallons of oil, sacks of potatoes, crates of chicken, and vegetables. She will also buy some utensils to better equip her business and give her customers better attention.

She still feels she has a lot of strength. She will keep working as long as God gives her the strength. She is grateful to the Manuela Ramos Movement for helping her fulfill her dreams.
