A loan of $475 helped a member to purchase vegetables to sell.

Eva's Group's story

Eva F. is from the village of Bugallon, Cauayan City. She is 32 years old. Eva is the group leader of a 4-member group requesting a loan through ASKI. While each member of the group receives an individual loan, they are all collectively responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members if someone is delinquent or defaults. Eva is married and has 2 school-aged children. To make a living, Eva owns and operates a general store. The main source of income for the business comes primarily from selling daily use products such as shampoo, soap and toothpaste in the local community. Eva has been engaged in her business for over 4 years and earns approximately 5000 PHP a month from it. Eva joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Eva is requesting a new loan of 6000 PHP which will be used to purchase vegetables to sell. This loan will be the fourth loan taken out by Eva from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement the family's income.

About ASKI:
