A loan helped to buy chickens to raise and generate income, and food and medicine for them.

Huong's story

Huong, who appears in the photo, is a 63-year-old woman. She is married with one adult child.

It was hard for her to manage her household expenses with just her husband's small income. So some years ago, she started her own business raising pigs. She started with two pigs and then she added chickens and ducks to her farm. Her husband fully supports and assists her with her work.

Now, she has requested a loan to purchase more chickens, and for food and medicine for them. She will then resell the chickens in the market. She has just invested in cages and other equipment, and this loan will double the amount that she currently has. Thus, she will have good output, which will generate profits and improve the quality of life of her child and then grandchildren. She is thankful for your help.

This loan is special because:

It empowers female entrepreneurs living in remote rural communities.
