Nicaragua
Managua, Nicaragua / Personal Housing Expenses

A loan of $350 helped purchase of stone, sand, and cement to build a concrete wall for his house, in order to provide more security for his family.

Augusto Cesar's story

Mr. Cesar A. has been working as a security guard for nineteen years, dedicated to providing safety to other people. Cesar lives in a neighborhood of the capital where one needs to have a safe house to prevent robberies. One of his goals is to finish the construction of his house to improve the living conditions inside the home. The low wages from his job have made it very difficult to finish the house, but with the loan we granted him in the first cycle he has begun constructing the back wall. With this loan he will purchase construction materials such as cement, iron bars, and stones, and continue the construction with the left wall of the house. By improving security and protecting his family, Cesar will achieve one of his goals and demonstrate that he is a man capable of improving his quality of life.
