A loan of $400 helped purchase utensils, linens, and ingredients.

Manuel Leoncio's story

Don Manuel Leoncio P. has been working as a driver for a private company for many years. With the help of his wife, he established a small diner in his home. This business has helped them financially and has allowed them to pay several basic expenses that normally they would not be able to cover on his salary alone. Due to low sales and a lack of funds, Don Manuel closed his business temporarily. He wants to reopen the diner, but he is not able to do so because he cannot cover his household expenses.

For this reason, he has requested a loan to purchase linens and new utensils to help him provide better service. He will also buy basic grains, rice, sugar, beans, meat, chicken, vegetables, and fruits for preparing the various dishes that his diner previously offered. Don Manuel hopes to recapture his customers and recover quickly. He is 51 years old and always plans to support his children, even though all five of them are already married. Likewise, he plans to make improvements to his home, such as painting the walls to provide his family with a different atmosphere. He thanks AFODENIC for making it possible to invest in his small business.
