Kibanebane Group's story

Haidari D., age 46, is a married man with three children aged 21, 19, and 9 years. He has owned a traditional medicine business for 4 years now. He works daily from 7:30 am until 8 pm and from the business is able to make a monthly profit of around $264.

This will be Haidari’s 2nd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to expand his business stock and paid back his loan successfully. He hopes to get a loan from Tujijenge Tanzania to further increase his stock of traditional medicines.

Haidari will share this loan with his loan group, Kibanene, which totals 20 members. The members of the group hold each other accountable in paying back their loans. In the picture, Haidari is in front in a blue shirt.
