Mah-E-Now Group's story

The pictured group is Mah-e-Now which is made up of five female members. Hasema is the group leader. She is 48 and married with 5 children. She weaves different kinds of carpets and she needs a loan to buy good quality materials to grow her business. Wahida is a good seamstress and she sews kids clothes in her house. Many of her neighbors like her work and buy their children's clothes from her. She is seeking a loan to buy a new machine for her business. Sara jan sells embroidery, which is very popular in Afghanistan. She wants money to buy supplies for her business. Mariza wants a loan for her husband who has a small cosmetics shop. He would like to buy more inventory for his shop. The last member of the group is Fatana who would like to receive a loan for her brother who has a clothing shop. She is confident that her brother's business will expand quickly.

Together they have requested a group loan of 50000 Afghani and would like to thank Kiva lenders.
