A loan helped to buy pigs to fatten as well as rice bran to expand their diet.

Mimoza's story

Mimoza, 25 years old, has had a business raising pigs for a few years. She is married with one child. The small family lives in a rural village. Since Mimoza undertook this business, she has taken on an important role in improving the family's income. She takes out loans from VAHATRA to strengthen her financial capital and uses the loans to buy pigs. With the profits from the previous loan, she was able to construct a dwelling-house.

Mimoza is asking for help from the lenders to buy a few pigs to fatten as well as rice bran to reinforce their diet. She sells these products in the local market. The profits from this loan will be added to her capital. Mimoza is counting on the support of the lenders for this project.
