A loan of $1,200 helped construction of a stable to house her cattle.

Nancy's story

Nancy is 40 years old, married, and has a 10-year-old son. She recently returned from working hard in Spain, and she has been able to get together enough money for a small farm with 10 dairy cows that will produce raw milk that will be sold to a company that makes different dairy products.

Nancy lives in the city of Cochabamba in the Machajmarca neighborhood, where she has a small house in front of her farm. These days, she lives alone with her son as her husband is constantly traveling to Santa Cruz for his job in the heavy transport service.

This loan will be used to build a stable for her herd, which is needed for their proper care during this season of heavy rains. Among Nancy's dreams and goals are to increase the amount of milk she produces and thus grow her little farm. With a second loan, Nancy hopes to do some remodeling on her home and that her young son will study a lot so he won't need to travel to other countries in search of employment like she did.
