A loan helped to pay her university fees so she can restart her studies in foreign languages and finally accomplish her father's last wish.

Brunilda's story

Brunilda is a 28-year-old woman from Albania's capital city. She is seen here in a photo taken at her place of work. She works as a manicurist in a beauty salon.

Brunilda had to interrupt her studies in Foreign Languages when she was 20 years old, after her father passed away, because she was the only adult who could help her mother provide for her siblings.

"My father didn't wanted me to quit my studies, but I had to support my mother. Now my family's situation has become better and I only help them financially once in a while. I really want to restart my studies so I will accomplish my dream and my father's last wish!" said Brunilda, hopeful for Kiva lenders' understanding and support.

This loan is special because:

It supports people in a country where financing options are scarce.
