A loan helped to buy one lot of pigs and feed for their fattening with the goal of increasing the production and making more money.

Galis Margarita's story

Galis is a farmer. She is 49 years old and lives together with her loved ones in the municipality of Ovejas. The area is heavily affected by violence, forced displacement and has a high rate of poverty. For those reasons running business represents a high risk activity.

Galis started her business of breeding fish and pigs from economic necessity. Thanks to her work she has managed to gain the necessary income to maintain her household and, especially, to improve her quality of life.

Galis wants to apply for a loan that will be used to buy one lot of pigs and feed for their fattening. The goal is to increase her production and make more money.
