A loan of $350 helped replacement parts and maintenance for her two motocarros.

Lulu's story

Lulu is a dynamic woman. She lives in the Yarina Cocha district in the Ucayali region. She is 53, and she has six grown children. She provides the service of renting out “motocarros” (three wheeled motorized vehicle). She and her husband share this activity.

She is happy to be part of the Las Lomas de Yarina Communal Bank. She has belonged for nine years. The first loan she received was for 300 PEN, which she used to buy a Nintendo to rent. This business is in her house (video games).

She now needs a loan for 1,000 PEN to buy replacement parts and give maintenance to her two motocarros. These vehicles generate income for her household because she rents them.

Lulu’s goal is to have a replacement parts and accessories store for motorcycles and motocarros.
