The village bank loan consists of thirteen people who all live in Veal Kandal village in Kandal province. Mrs. Sorth S. is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. She is a farmer who owns 1 hectar of land to cultivate rice. Now she faces an obstacle because she does not have enough money to hire workers to harvest the rice. Thus, she decided to ask for a loan for this purpose. Her husband, Mr. Auk Sam Ol, is a construction worker. This couple has eight children, three of whom are employed in a garment factory, two are construction workers, and the others are enrolled in the local school.
