A loan of $175 helped to increase stock inventory.

Rocio's story

Rocío, 36, lives with her children in a relative's house. For the last two years she has run a grocery store from a space she equipped in her dwelling. She tends to customers almost the entire day. This line of work is very comfortable for her because she can work from home and enjoy the company of her children. Rocío is always careful to see that her store is stocked with all the merchandise she needs and, thanks to the good customer service she provides, her regular clientele has been steadily growing. During these two years of work she has seen the results of her good work and she is motivated by them to continue investing in her store's growth. This is her first financing with MFP and she is very happy to be part of a comunal bank; she has high expectations of working well in a group so that all the members can progress. The funds requested will be used to buy stock inventory, especially panetones (a traditional cake made with raisins and fruits), hot chocolate mix, jars of milk, and other often requested items for the approaching Christmas season.
