A loan of $700 helped purchase of materials for the production of bricks.

Maria's story

Maria is 26 years old. She lives in her house with her husband and two-year old daughter. For five years she has worked making bricks with her family. She partnered with her sister and mother to produce large quantities of bricks and to sell them to clients. They share the earnings equally, and this is the principal income for Maria and her husband.

This is the eighth loan that she has had with MFP, and she has been recognized as being very punctual with her payments. The money from this loan will be used to purchase the materials necessary to make bricks like sawdust and sand.
