A loan of $1,100 helped to buy heifers.

Irma's story

Irma Rubí G., 47, is married and has no children. She wants the financing to buy dairy cattle. The cattle-raising business will help her family in that she will be able to sell the milk and make cheese to sell. Besides, she also raises pigs and farms coffee. This is not Irma's first loan with FUDECOSUR. She states that the credit committee has helped her a lot and offered easy payment terms. She hopes this project will grow and that she will reach her goals so that she can offer her family a better quality of life and economic stability in the future.

The Foundation for the Development of Southern Communities is dedicated to economically empowering its clients by providing credit and capacitating programs to improve living conditions of micro-entrepreneurs and their children across Southern Costa Rica.
