Caminando Juntos Group's story

The "Caminando Juntos" [Walking Together] Communal Bank is located in the high zone of Huaycán, in the Department of Lima. It currently includes ten members who work in a range of fields, including production, traD. and services. They have worked with the Edaprospo Prosperity organization for the past four months, and they are represented by:
Sabina M. Castañeda: an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial woman of 46 who lives with her partner and four children. She is currently taking on the position of president of the communal bank. Sabina works selling meals at textile factories which are located 40 minutes from her home. Thanks to the dedicated efforts she puts into her work day after day, she has been able to obtain goods for her home and help her partner with their children's educational expenses. With this loan, Sabina will purchase traditional cakes to sell during the Christmas season.
Ruth Enriqueta: a determined and entrepreneurial woman, 36 years old, with three children aged 7, 10 and 16. She is currently continuing in her position as secretary. She previously worked selling beans and peanuts, but with the effort she has put into her work, she has been able to open a small shop in her home. She also creates handmaD. goods such as shirts and embroidered items. Ruth will use this loan to expand her home and to stock her small store.
Maylen Evelyn: who continues to occupy the position of treasurer, as she has for the past four months. She is a young entrepreneur, 24 years old, who lives with her partner and her 1-year-old child, for whom she works hard each day. She is an expert at drawing and creates placards and drawings for schools and day care centers. She began this small business with the help of her aunt, who is a teacher. She will invest the funds from the current loan in purchasing art supplies to continue producing her drawings and thus helping her family and her small child.
