A loan helped a member to buy condiments and vegetables to resell.

Dienaba's Group's story

This group, created in May 2010, is made up of some dynamic women who live in the same neighborhood and show great solidarity with one another. They are actively involved in small retail, selling mostly condiments and vegetables.

The group's representative, Diénaba, is 50 years old, married, and the mother of seven children. In the photo she is the woman standing on the right with her hand raised.

With her loan, she will buy bulk quantities of condiments and vegetables which she will resell on a retail basis at the central market. She will use her profits to pay off her interests, boost her savings, and provide for the needs of her family in terms of nutrition, health, clothes, and school fees.

In this group: Dienaba , Fatoumata, Kondiedia, Yacine, Maimouna, Halimatou, Nene, Alimatou, Banna, Meta, Mariama Cisse, Fatoumata, Mama, Salimatou, Gnima, Bintou
