Norma's story

Norma C. is a dynamic and persistent woman. She lives in the city of Pucallaypa, in the region of Ucayali. She is 32 years old and is the mother of four dependent children. She has a small grocery store in her house and can count on the support of her husband, who is a motorcycle taxi driver. She has been a member of the “Juntas Hasta el Final” [Together until the End] communal bank for four years, where she has always demonstrated herself to be punctual. The first loan she received was for PEN 300.00, which she used to buy merchandise for her store. Norma now needs a loan of PEN 2,000.00, which she will use to buy food products for her store. Norma’s goal is to expand her store with a large variety of products and have a soda fountain.
