A loan of $3,625 helped a member operating capital for their respective businesses.

Union Group's story

Bethzabe C. is a member of the Union Group, which meets every two weeks at the German Busch Community Center. She and her husband work together to manufacture furniture. Her husband is known for his carpentry skills and worked in his father’s shop before they got married. As soon as they decided to work independently, Bethzabe and her husband opened their own woodworking shop and have now been in business for four years. They operate two vending locations, one in the July 16th district and the other in the Ballivián district. Both of them desire to continue and improve their business, so they need a loan to purchase materials in bulk such as wood and nails.

The other group members have businesses selling mobile phone accessories, plastics, beauty products, and antiques. They need a loan to increase their operating capital.
