A loan of $300 helped containers of palm oil to sell.

Cécile's story

G. Cécile was born in 1965 in Ouémé county in Benin.  Married to DOSSA Michel, a chauffeur, she is the mother of four children who are all in school.  She has another child to support.  For twelve years, Cécile has been living in Dowa in Porto-Novo, the administrative capital of Benin.  She lives in this district with her children and husband.  The couple provides for the family jointly.

Cécile has never been to school.  For twenty years, she has sold palm oil out of her home and at the Ouando market in Porto-Novo.  She gets her supplies in Adjohoun.

She is a previous ALIDé client, having obtained two loans, which were repaid.  To expand her business further and to increase her sales, she's requesting a third loan from ALIDé.
