A loan of $250 helped hair extensions and phone cards to sell.

Rébecca Adeline's story

H. Rébecca Adeline was born on October 12, 1978 in Abidjan in Cote d'Ivoire, a country near Benin.  Married to KLIDJOHOUN Vincent, a building electrician, she is the mother of three children.  She lives together with her children and husband in Gbodjè in Porto-Novo, the administrative capital of Benin.  The children are all in school. Early on, Rébecca Adeline stopped going to class and learned to style hair. She has been working in hairstyling for two years and has her salon in front of her house. She also sells hair extensions, women's bags, and mobile phone recharge cards in her salon. She gets her supplies in Djègan-Kpèvi in Porto-Novo. This is the first time that she has requested a loan from ALIDé. The loan will be used to expand her business.
