A loan of $800 helped to buy cutlery and plastics rubbers.

Gbassay's story

Gbassay is a petty trader married also to a petty trader with three dependents, one of whom is their son. She trades in cutlery, plastic rubbers, and enamel dishes. After dropping out during senior secondary school some fourteen years ago, she has been in business. She usually travels to a neighbouring country (Guinea) to purchase her stock.

Gbassay intends to use the profit from the loan she is seeking to buy more stock, rent a bigger store to stock her goods and to help her husband to purchase land.
