Mrs. Thach Pen Village Bank Group's story

A village bank loan consists of nineteen people who all live in Pou Thum village in Kandal province. Mrs. Thach P. is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. She is a farmer who grows bananas. She now faces a small problem in this business because she does not have enough money to support the banana tree, so she decided to ask for a loan to buy more fertilizers for this purpose. Her husband, Mr. Tes S., helps her with the farming. Mrs. Thach P. is 52 years old and the mother of three children, one of whom is employed in a garment factory, while the others are laborers.
