A loan of $700 helped purchase fertilizer.

Iram's story

Iram is a single young man, 25 years old, and lives in his mother's house. In view of the fact that he has many brothers and sisters, and his parents are never free of caring for them all, he took it upon himself to plant his own coffee crop, which he will harvest in May of this year. But it didn't turn out that way, due to a lack of fertilizer the crop was late in maturing. For that reason, Iram feels very unsettled, seeing the situation and wanting to turn it around, and even though he is employed as day labourer at other small farms, his salary of 15 soles daily, it's not enough to buy his desired fertilizers.

For this reason, he requests this loan to buy nitrates necessary to envigorate his plants and thereby harvest (coffee) this year. This is his third loan with MFP, and he has paid back each loan fully and on time. He wants to continue counting on the past loans for his crops.
