A loan of $525 helped to delouse her animals and purchase fertilizers.

Benedicta's story

Benedicta is a 56 year old single mother of two children, who live in another city.
Years ago Benedicta ran a grocery store from her home where her children worked, but when they grew older they moved away and she had to close the store.
Benedicta has always worked raising cattle and has approximately 50 animals, which she takes out from their shelter and feeds at 10 in the morning, after which she puts them out to pasture until the sun goes down.
This activity is very profitable for her as every week she sells between one and three rams, for which she is paid between 80 and 120 soles, depending on the size.
In addition, Benedicta sows potatoes, peas and corn on her small farms (watered by the rain), which she harvests every season, which is why she depends on the sale of her cattle to pay for the daily costs of living.

This is Benedicta's twelfth loan with MFP. In all the years that she has been with them (six in total), she has been very punctual with the repayment of all her installments.
The loan that she is currently applying for will be used to purchase chemical fertilizers and to delouse her animals.
