Mrs. Doris P. is 57 years old and produces and sells rosquillas (a doughnut shaped cracker), quesadillas (a cake made with cheese) y tustacas (a type of corn cake with sugar). Rosquillas are often sold in this part of Honduras, the majority of people who visit Choluteca and the surrounding areas buy them. This type of food is very delicious and it goes well with hot black coffee and its flavor is exquisite. Doris told us to try one of her rosquillas with some coffee and they truly were very delicious.
She sells her product in little markets and by travelling to the center and to the market in the city of Choluteca. She now needs a loan to buy more raw materials for the production of her rosquillas. She is selling enough and is not adjusting what she is producing.
