Luke is 30 years old and married with two children. He is a fish monger in Kitengela, a small town near Nairobi. He has been in this business for three years and was previously a mechanic. He describes himself as God-fearing and determined.
He requested this loan of 20,000 KES from the Kiva field partner, Faulu Kenya, to buy twenty crates of fish. In the future, he hopes to be the best fish monger in the area. He says that since he joined Faulu he is no longer intimidated and that he can make it no matter what.
