Super Plus Group's story

"Super Plus" is a community bank which is established in solidarity by 25 members, including the leader, Josée K., aged 51, who has been selling soft drinks since 2005. She operates in a mountainous district located southwest of the city of Kinshasa. She has acquired management experience from her work, which generates a profit of $40 a week for her. With this loan she’ll receive, she plans to boost her capital by buying five cases of soft drinks. She is a loyal HOPE RDC client who had three loans, and she repaid all of them. Her ambition is to open a beverages outlet one day for making sales in her area. Josée is a widow and the mother of just one child who is 24 years old.
